Before anything else, let us answer the one question that bothers most, "Why Harpy's Roast, why the Harpy?". Honestly, and this is no secret, this has mostly to do with the image of ourselves when we wake up, bleary-eyed, tousled-haired harpies, and we need a great cup of coffee to turn into fully functional individuals. I am willing to bet that this applies to most of us, correct? :) 

However it also has another meaning; it's a symbol of our passion, our dedication, and our love for the world of coffee. The harpy in mythology is a half-woman half-bird creature of captivating mystery and enchantment. The bird harpy is an extraordinary existance, a minifestation that the world is sprinkled with hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. So the name Harpy's Roast encapsulates this continuous pursuit of the extraordinary, our aspiration to craft coffee that transcend the norm.

We're a small, passionate team with a purpose - we want to show you that beyond a "pick-me-up" drink, coffee is a sensory adventure to be explored.

We started as a wonderlust couple, travelling the world, from North and Central America to Indonesia, we are dedicated to experience each place we visit with all our senses. We truly believe that to understand a place you have to taste it! Flavours and aromas are essential to the journey, and coffee is a great way to get to know a place. Having also met brilliant and dedicated farmers in our journeys, it has also been very important to us that we source our beans ethically and keep close relationship with our providers.

Our goal is to not only share with you what we have experienced, but push the boundaries of your daily coffee ritual.
